The
Wildlife of Waterford
................ City & County..................
.....
..................................
Waterford Wildlife activities include ongoing fieldwork throughout the County and constant bird-ringing in a Waterford fen; insect trapping and determination of species caught; constant scanning of the natural history journals for local published information and updating the Waterford Wildlife data-base with all field and book data that is new. It writes a weekly article on the wildlife of Waterford for a local City newspaper ( Waterford Today ) and offers advice and guidence to community bodies on their local biodiversity when requested insofar as up-to-date information is available for particular locations and species. Waterford Wildlife is non commercial, non-political and non profit-making. All information is supplied free of any charge to any who request it. Those that can are asked to make a contribution to offset costs but this is not conditional in any way. Information will continue to be supplied as a gesture to progress the knowledge of Waterfords's local flora and fauna. ....
